Industrial Therapy Model

AIRT

When providing therapy for work related injuries, Advanced Industrial & Rehabilitation Therapy's unique "worker-job matching" approach focuses treatment on assessing the patient's physical abilities in relationship to work activities. Baseline testing is performed to provide the treating physician with objective tolerances for work. Weekly case management meetings assist the staff in developing return-to-work treatment strategies that maximize modified duty productivity and return to full duty outcomes in less time.

Pre-Employment/Post-Offer Agility Testing

AIRT Agility Tests are designed to accurately match employee capacity compared to critical job demands, thereby helping to prevent work related injuries. This low cost agility test can identify the “hidden walking wounded” in your pre-employment pool of job incumbents that are a high risk for work related injuries.

Functional Capacity Evaluation

This evaluation can help determine the injured employee’s ability to perform specific job tasks either at his/her job at time of injury or alternative job(s). This evaluation can also determine general work capacity, provide recommendations for reasonable accommodation and provide a physical capacity profile that is very useful in vocational rehabilitation planning. Our experience has been that companies that use this service return their injured employees back to work faster and more safely. This test can also provide special “checks” that help identify symptom magnification and inconsistent effort.

Our Tracker System from JTech allows us to provide you with the most comprehensive, accurate and objective evaluation of function possible. Our testing incorporates peer reviewed published protocols and custom tests (for meeting ADA requirements) that ensure reliability of the data. We are then able to present the results to you in east-to-understand report format.
